Hoppe.home Game • Native Godot 4 MMO
World of JoschiCraft
The Hoppe family's own shared-world MMO — village, quests, mining, crafting, four zones, a dungeon, day/night, weather, and now duels. Rebuilt from the ground up in Godot 4 for real WoW-style smooth terrain instead of the old blocky look, while the same always-on multiplayer server keeps everyone's characters, gold, and gear.
Phase 1–3 complete
Phase 4 in progress — duels just landed
Phase 5 next: Linux & Android builds

First launch
- Download the zip above and extract it anywhere (e.g. your Desktop or Documents).
- Run
WorldOfJoschiCraft.exe. Windows SmartScreen may warn about an unrecognized app — click "More info" then "Run anyway" (the build isn't code-signed; this is expected for a family-only release, not a sign of tampering). - Log in with your email (no password — same as the classic browser game) and create or pick a character.
- You'll land in Joschiheim village. Talk to Elder Miriam to start the story, or head straight out to gather, fight, and explore.
What's new since the Godot rewrite began
- Newest: the game has sound now — combat, harvesting, level-ups, loot, and a gentle ambient soundtrack that shifts with day, night, the Deep Mine, and Blood Moons (turn it down or mute it in Settings)
- Newest: a daily login streak 🔥 — play on consecutive days for growing bonuses, with extra rewards at 3, 7, 14, and 30 days
- Newest: each area now feels like its own place — its own light and haze (warm Joschiheim, cold Frosthold, fiery Emberreach, golden Sunmeadow, haunted Duskmere), with distant islands fading into the horizon
- Newest: a landmark to explore toward in every zone — the Frostspire, the Emberforge, and a turning Harvest Windmill (Duskmere's Vigil of Names too)
- Newest: your hero wears a cape now for a more heroic look
- Five zones built and walkable — Joschiheim, Frosthold, Emberreach, Sunmeadow, and the Duskmere highland — plus the Deep Mine dungeon
- Full quest & story system (Journal, "The Peacebringer's Path") with real NPCs to talk to
- Gear, shop, crafting, talents, and a 3-ability class bar — all server-arbitrated, same as before
- Real CC0 character and mob models, day/night cycle, Blood Moon events, and per-biome weather
- Multiplayer: see other players moving around in real time, same shared server as always
- Duels — click another player, challenge them, and fight it out (no deaths, just bragging rights)
- New: parties — shift+click another player to invite them to a group and split kill XP together
- New: a real Settings panel (P) — mouse/gamepad look sensitivity, invert-Y, field of view; smoother movement with a touch of acceleration, plus coyote-time/jump-buffer for friendlier jumping; gamepad support for moving, looking, jumping, sprinting, and attacking
- New: the world got bigger — a 5th island, Duskmere, past Sunmeadow's bridge, with its own vendor, quest-giver, and a tougher mob roster (wraiths, bog lurkers, and the Duskmourne boss)
- New: scattered grass and rocks make the landscape read as less empty across every biome
